These are the employees basics (what are employees, how to add employees, etc.)

Add a new employee

You need to create an employee profile before that employee can unlock your Clover device.

When creating an employee role, you need to add the employee’s name, role, and a passcode. Adding a nickname or email address is optional, though you need to add an email if you want that particular employee to be able to access the Web Dashboard.

Edit an employee

Sometimes you need to make changes to an employee profile. For example, an employee gets promoted to a manager and you want them to have manager permissions. These changes are made in the Employees app.

You cannot change the employee’s name or email address.
